ADRIAN K
Adrian K, an artist and activist rooted in historic Harlem, NYC, brings a nuanced touch to his studio practice. His art, a blend of painting, installations, events, and new media, draws the public into experiences exploring the intricate tapestry of sustainability, community, and consciousness.
Founder of the globally recognized TRASH project, Adrian champions urban beautification and environmental awareness with a commitment to the circular economy ethos. Beyond borders, this ongoing initiative collaborates with local groups, leaving a lasting impact on communities and individuals.
In 2016, in collaboration with Friends of St. Nicholas Park, the TRASH project initiated an annual cleanup season in St. Nicholas Park and the surrounding neighborhood.
